An exuberant Classic Amarone della Valpolicella. “The nose is very expressive and complex, with clear floral notes (violet/crocus) and cedar that mix with darker and earthy tones” “On the palate there is an important but not heavy structure, thanks to its lively acidity. The generous fruit makes the tannins enveloping and flowing, creating a perfect consistency. The notes of red fruit of notable purity are followed by a sip rich in liquorice and a meaty and tasty finish. This is a meditation wine, rich in depth and pleasant savory, smoky notes, accessible now thanks to soft tannins and sensual expressiveness, but with decades of glorious evolution ahead.”

Amarone Classico Bertani is a timeless wine, in the unique style that Bertani has always striven care to preserve. A style that is classic, yet always up to date and therefore never needs to change. Produced by Bertani since as long ago as 1958, Amarone Classico Bertani is a perfect example of total harmony between time, nature and man, and to it we devote all our skill and enthusiasm, all our patience and loving care. The natural appassimento (semi-drying process) of the grapes on the “aréle” (cane mats) and the ageing in large casks for no less than six years give this wine a stable and long-lasting structure, making it one of the longest-living wines in the world.
