Bertani’s impact on Veneto wine making, particularly in Amarone production, is so considerable that ‘Bertani’ and ‘Amarone’ are nearly synonymous. Their 150+ year history is dotted with groundbreaking initiatives and royal accreditation. The vines of the Ripasso are cultivated using the “spalliera”method and the pruning is done using the “Guyot” method with a density of 5.000 bases/ha. From the Tenuta Novare, Valpolicella Classica and Valpantena vineyards. Soil calcareous-marl, clay and basalt.
