Description

Domaine Chapuis is based on 170 years of family tradition at the foot of the Corton hill in Burgundy. Corton-Languettes is a rare wine. One of the few who still produce this grand cru is Domaine Chapuis in Aloxe-Corton.

Corton Languettes is a Pinot Noir which grows on a Corton Charlemagne terroir, in other words, a soil suited to white wines. The soil is fairly sandy, marly and calcareous. The vineyard was planted who had a special fondness for this wine.

Tasting Notes

The bouquet of Corton Languettes is interesting because of its complexity. No other wine can be compared to it. Its nose reveals some cherry aroma. Its mouth reveals a powerful but balanced tannin aromas and cherry. This wine is powerful and characterizes itself by its rare elegance and its subtlety. Its freshness is the promise of a good aging potential but already good to taste.

Serving Suggestions

Will beautifully accompany the finest meals with red meats, dishes cooked in red wine and fine cheeses. Highly recommended with a beef fillet

Serve between 16 and 17 °C. Ideal for drinking already but can easily age for the next 20 years
