Deep garnet red, which is gradually permeated with orange reflections over the years. The nose is intense and ethereal, with distinct traces of tobacco, wild rose, spices and even tar. The taste is elegant with abundant, fully-expressed tannins that are also balanced and pleasant. Ideal with first courses enriched with tasty condiments such as meat ragout and porcini mushrooms, roasts, braised meats, lamb and aged cheeses, sheep and goats.

Description
Description
The grapes come from vineyards with soils particularly rich in clay and limestone, which, at sight, appear as Terre Bianche. This type of soils, very compact and waterproof, force the vine to take root in depth, in search of water. The result is particularly sparse bunches with small berries that give the wines an abundance of mineral salts, trace elements and a rich heritage of tannins, able to ensure a great longevity.
To enhance all its richness and allow the various components to blend perfectly with each other and give us a fully expressed wine, but capable of a very long life, the Barbaresco Riserva ages 2 years in traditional large Slavonian oak barrels, which contribute to making it harmonious and balanced and increasing the finesse of the bouquet. It completes its refinement in the bottle for several months and can be placed on the market only after about 4 years from the harvest. The ripening plateau of the Barbaresco Riserva exceeds 20 years.
