Description

ISOLE e OLENA is located in the heart of Chianti Classico, on the western slope halfway between the historic cities of Florence and Siena at an altitude of between 350-490 m. All wines are produced with only grapes from their own 56 hectares of vineyards owned since 1956 by the De Marchi family and managed by Paolo De Marchi since 1976.

Thanks to this work Isole e Olena can be proudly counted among the small number of companies that have led the renewal of Chianti.

A great match for roasted meats like beef, lamb, and pork. Hard cheeses: wine's acidity and tannins are complemented extremely well by the saltiness of hard cheeses like Parmesan, Pecorino, and aged Cheddar.
