Second wine of the historic and emblematic Chateau Calon Segur, Marquis de Calon Ségur offers a unique expression of the great terroir of Saint-Estèphe, on the Left Bank of the Bordeaux region.

Blend Ratio (Estimate): 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc

An elegant red colour with a tinge of violet. Expressive nose of fragrant raspberries and blackcurrants. Subtle spiciness in the background. On the palate, solid structure with ripe tannins and freshness with the fruity flavours pushing through to the finish.

Serving Suggestions

Best paired with all types of classic meat dishes, pork, beef, lamb, duck, game, roast chicken. Generally goes well with roasted, braised and grilled dishes.
