Description

Bodegas Hermanos Peciña, established in 1992 by Pedro Peciña Crespo and his three children, is a family-owned winery in the heart of Rioja Alta, specifically in San Vicente de la Sonsierra. 

The winery is known for its traditional winemaking methods, including manual racking using gravity and decanting from barrel to barrel, and for aging wines in used American oak barrels for extended periods, longer than required by DOCa regulations. The winery owns 50 hectares of vineyards in the Sonsierra region, with vines ranging from 40 to 60 years old. 
Tasting Notes

Orange robe and brick coloured rind. Soft Vanilla aromas with a retonasal character, hints of leather and tabacco and dried flowers. Very elegant, mellow, velvety, tasty and well balanced. Good length. Wine is unfined and unfiltered.

Blend: 95% Tempranillo, 5% Graciano y Granacha
Serving Suggestions

Serving Temperature: 18-19 ºC

Great with lighter dishes, seafood, and tapas. While older, more oaked styles can handle richer, more robust meals like roasted meats and paella.
