Bürgerspital is a wine-growing estate with 120 hectares in the Franken region of Germany. Situated in a beautiful and historic courtyard right in the middle of Würzburg city, it is one of the oldest and largest wine-growing estates in Germany

Started with the endowment of a nobleman in 1316, Bürgerspital is widely recognized as one of the best German wineries. It is also a founding member of the VDP - an Association of Germany's Top-Quality Wine-Growing Estates. A distinguishing feature all VDP wines show is the Bundesadler - the single-headed eagle on the neck of the bottle.

This is a Grand Cru dry Riesling.

The Pfülben GG bears an unmistakable resemblance to the other Randersackerer Rieslings from the Teufelskeller and Marsberg, but it is particularly puristic and has an extraordinary aromas and minerality that undoubtedly makes it the star of our Randersackerer wine trilogy.
