Upholding the tradition of Barolo through good ethics.

Azienda Agricola Bruna Grimaldi is a family-run winery nestled in the heart of the Langhe, Piedmont. Founded by the Grimaldi family in the 1950s, it farms around 15 hectares of vineyards across several top crus for Barolo, including Badarina and Bricco Ambrogio. With a focus on indigenous grapes like Nebbiolo, Barbera and Arneis, the estate emphasizes low yields, minimal chemical use and an elegant expression of terroir
The Vineyard is a place where nature is respected in accordance with rules and values for a good and responsible behaviour. Wines represented as an expression of a unique and prestigious territory: the Barolo region of the Langhe.

The knowledgeable hand of whom knows how to farm the vineyard with respect and dedication has been passed down through generations in our family of winegrowers.
Giacomo Grimaldi started to sell his grapes in 1957, then his son Giovanni Grimaldi produced their first wine in the 1960s

Giovanni Grimaldi's daughter Bruna Grimaldi (Pictured top) and her husband Franco Fiorino (Pictured bottom), the present owners, turned the estate into a modern winery, bottling their first “new” wine in 1999.
The estate she inherited included the Badarina vineyard in Serralunga from her mother’s side and some beautiful old vineyards from her father’s side in Grinzane Cavour, where the winery is located. Additionally, they purchased some choice parcels in other sites, including a parcel in the coveted Bricco Ambrogio vineyard in Roddi.

Simone Grimaldi is the winemaker since 2010 – highly reviewed by wine critics, Simone is one of the finest winemakers of the Langhe and his wines are a treat for every Barolo lover.
