Chateau Clinet 2017

Situated in the heart of the Pomerol appellation on a high-elevation clay and gravel plateau, Château Clinet is renowned for producing elegant, powerful, and aromatic red wines. Owned by the Laborde family since 1999, the 9-hectare vineyard is usually a blend of 75-80% merlot with 20-25% cabernet sauvignon producing a velvety, complex style. 

The wine is known for being rich, intense, and balanced, often featuring notes of plum, cherry, violets, licorice, and spice. The winery practices sustainable viticulture, manual harvesting, and gravity-fed fermentation in tanks followed by a 16-20 month aging period in new oak barrels.
