This wine from the Margaux appellation, located in Cantenac, took the name of "Massac" already in the 19th century. Following the bankruptcy of John Levis Brown and the sale of his possessions, the 50 acres of Brown were divided among several buyers, among them Mr Darquier, who created «Latour Massac", which vineyard was located at a place named "La Tour"

Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot

Shades of blueberries, black currants and raspberries, surrounded by hints of camphor, violet, cloves, nutmeg, undergrowth and hibiscus. Smoky hints of a cigar box, Christmas pastries, tobacco and black pepper are intertwined with thin, silky tannins. A beautiful, smooth finish is condensed to the finish and acquires a slight astringency.
