As the second wine born in the 1960s from the iconic Fourth Great Classified Growth Chateau Talbot, the Connetable De Talbot is one of the pioneers in the Médoc on the Left Bank of the Bordeaux region.

This great wine from the renowed Saint-Julien appellation has become a wine with a personality. Reflecting all the typicity of the appellation and elaborated with the same attention as that given to the first wine, the Connetable De Talbot displays the elegance that gives Saint-Julien its charm.

Blend Ratio (Estimate): Cabernet Sauvignon 54%; Merlot 46%

Dense, dark garnet color, drawing on purple in its youth. The nose reveals notes of violet, wood & vanilla. With aging, the wine will reveal game or truffle aromas. This wine has structured tannins with a note of black fruits important that will give an interesting overall balance.
