6ha Burgundy gem nestled in the Côte de Nuits whose wine records date back to the time of Louis XIV. For 7 generations, the wines at this superb estate have been produced by stellar women winemakers. Hélène Michaut , the current owner, runs the winery since 2009 and was awarded the GOLD medal for Best Female wine maker in 2019.

The name of the estate (and their flagship wine) comes from the walled parcel (Clos) they own in Nuits St Georges (Les Poulettes, 1er Cru) - it has an old hunter's cabin in which they house chickens (poulet!)

The plot of Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru "les Poulettes" produces a remarkable cru that combines power and roundness with a bouquet reminiscent of blackcurrant, green pear and wild bramble. This vintage lends itself perfectly to ageing.

In its youth, it is an ideal accompaniment with excellence roasts like beef and lamb. In its maturity, it is an ideal wine for heavier game meat
