Elio Grasso, Barolo Gavarini Chiniera, 2020

Elio Grasso is a respected family-run winery in Monforte d’Alba, Piedmont, rooted in generations of vine growing. In 1978 Elio began vinifying and bottling estate fruit separately, transforming vineyards of Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto, and later adding Chardonnay in 1986, into distinctive wines.

Their range includes single-vineyard Barolos like Gavarini Chiniera, Ginestra Casa Matè and the Runcot Riserva, plus Barbera, Dolcetto, Langhe Nebbiolo and a barrel-fermented Chardonnay, all expressing pure terroir and traditional craftsmanship.

 Annual production stays under about 90,000 bottles to maintain quality control.
