Located north of the village of Morey-Saint-Denis and adjoining Gevrey-Chambertin, the Clos de la Roche is situated on the rocky limestone ridge of the slope, hence its name ("roche" is rock in French). With an altitude of between 250 and 300 metres (820 Ft - 980 Ft), this is the biggest classified Grand Cru vineyard of the village of Morey-Saint-Denis.

This red Clos de la Roche Grand Cru has an attractive bright red robe. Fruity and refreshing, the nose has aromatic aromas of red fruit, aniseed, tobacco, cherry and menthol notes. Rich and well-balanced in the mouth, this wine is robust and yet crisp. The finale is intense and flavoured with notes of crystallised fruit and spices.

Our Clos de la Roche Grand Cru is suited for rib steaks, rib roasts as well as game and strong cheese. Perfect for pheasant with chestnuts, a beef filet with cream of morel mushrooms or cheeses such as époisses, blue cheese or Roquefort
