Burgerspital Wurzburger Pfaffenberg Grauer Burgunder Erste Lage 2023

Bürgerspital is a wine-growing estate with 120 hectares in the Franken region of Germany. Situated in a beautiful and historic courtyard right in the middle of Würzburg city, it is one of the oldest and largest wine-growing estates in Germany.

Started with the endowment of a nobleman in 1316, Bürgerspital is widely recognized as one of the best German wineries. It is also a founding member of the VDP - an Association of Germany's Top-Quality Wine-Growing Estates. A distinguishing feature all VDP wines show is the Bundesadler - the single-headed eagle on the neck of the bottle.
