Domaine Pascale Rion Delhautal, Vosne-Romanée LE VILLAGE, 2020

Daniel Rion created a family run estate in 1955 in the heart of Vosne Romanee. Since 2000, the estate is run by siblings Olivier, Christophe and Pascale Rion. Pascale Rion married into the Delhautel family and the estate is since called Domaine Pascale Rion Delhautel.

What began with two hectares of vines in 1955 , today consists of 18 hectares over six villages in the Cote de Nuits appellation of Burgundy. The vines vary in age from 25 years up to 60 years old. These old vines were selected for the high quality of their fruits. The harvest is carried out exclusively by hand. This manual method also enables sorting of the grapes in the vineyard to integrate into the crop only healthy, ripe fruit. The prized vineyards of this Domaine are located in the villages of Vosne romanee, Vougeot and Flagey-Echezeaux.
