Marchesi di Barolo Tradizione Barolo DOCG, 2017

The grapes destined for the production of this wine come from vineyards located on hills with good slopes, characterized by mainly calcareous clayey soils, of medium texture, covered with quartz sands and very fine silt, able to bring an abundance of trace elements and guarantee a wide and immediate expression of the bouquet.

Aging takes place for one year in Slavonian oak and French oak barrels. It is then assembled in a classic large Slavonian oak barrel. The wine completes its refinement in the bottle before being put on the market. The Barbaresco Tradizione reaches maturity 3 years after the harvest and the ripening plateau is between 3 and 20 years.
