Description

Chateau Figeac is a Premier Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Émilion. Alongside great names like Angelus, Pavie, it represents the best of Bordeaux right bank. Château Figeac has been owned by the Manoncourt family for over 120 years.
Produced with the same high standards as the Grand Vin, Petit-Figeac is the Second Wine of the estate. First produced in 1945, the 2nd wine is called Petit Figeac since 2012 - taking the name of a historic plot of land "Petit-Figeac" located in the heart of the estate.

Tasting Notes

Blend: 41% Cabernet Franc, 36% Cabernet Sauvignon and 23% Merlot

Very Cabernet on the nose with blackcurrants, walnuts and fresh herbs. Hints of dried earth. Medium to full body and firm, juicy tannins. Solid. Second wine of Figeac. A blend of 41% Cabernet franc, 36% Cabernet sauvignon and 23% Merlot. Try after 2022.
