Description

This opens with spicy aromas of white pepper and clove that mix with whiffs of blue flowers and grilled herbs. The medium-bodied palate is austere, suggesting tart cranberry, sour cherry, brown pepper and roasted coffee bean set against assertive, grainy tannins
Tasting Notes

Full-on garnet red. Nose of jam, dried fruit and cherries in alcohol, with spicy hints of cinnamon, vanilla and tar. Palate is intriguing and warm, with plenty of body and structure, and a long aromatic finish.
Serving Suggestions

Mains of red meat and game, and cheeses that have undergone lengthy ageing.
